Nease's Needlework is pleased to welcome you here, and humbled you would visit!  Please feel free to shop around. If you do decide to create a web account it has a lot of advantages! It will keep your shipping addresses for you, and remember the contents of your cart for next time. Your account will keep track of any gift certificates someone might have bought for you too. And you can write reviews for your fellow stitchers to learn from them.

With the down-turn in the economy, Nease's Needlework is closing its brick and mortar shop effective August 23/24.  We will miss seeing you, though we are available for on-line and in-person project consultation, needlework help, and the like.  In fact, we will probably be even more available starting in September so make sure you keep this website bookmarked and our phone number on speed-dial!

However, if you are a customer of the brick and mortar shop, we will be open our normal business hours (Mon, Tues, Friday 11:00-6:00, Thurs 10:00-8:00, and Sat. 11:00-5:00) till August 23, and we may even be open Sundays through the latter part of August if business warrents it.  We're also having a "Going on the Internet" sale starting on Monday July 21 as follows:  10% off all in-store merchandise the week of July 21, 20% off storewide during the week of July 28, 30% off storewide starting August 3, and 40% off from August 10 onwards.  (And no, we will not hold an item for a week so that you can get a better discount!)  We will not be able to accept any more framing or finishing from this point forward, and the only special orders we can accept are project emergencies.

We will be closing out of our yarn inventory, too, so if you are a knitter or want to know if we have something in stock, please call the shop at (404) 377-6875.  We can ship anywhere in the US, even right down the street.

If you are an on-line customer, my goal is to have everything (threads, needlepoint canvases, specialty threads, cross stitch books, overdyed threads, needlepoint yarn) on the website starting in September.  Think of it as an on-line, brick-and-mortar shop that knows what customers need and has the ability to service them with the personal interaction you can only get at a shop down the street!

We now have an real, live, honest-to-goodness blog! Yes, that's right, Nease's Needlework (or should I say, NNW?) has entered the great blogosphere, and it's a blast. If you visit the blog feel free to add comments, as I've added several personal projects with gazillions of geeky details in the past few weeks. While the blog started as an on-line, group visit to make the Annetrelac Sock from Interweave Knits Holiday issue, it has morphed into something much more.  You can visit the NNW blog at www.neasesneedlework.blogspot.com.

From time to time, look for news here. Announcements of sales or special shop hours or emergency closings like when ice-storms hit (always looking for an excuse to take a day off and stitch ourselves!)
